Quirk is a local startup that aims to help diminish the problem of food waste by creating healthy, affordable beverages from quirky fruit.
They accomplish this by rescuing locally sourced quirky fruits and vegetables that would ignored due to their shape, size, or color i.e. stop edible food from going to waste, and by creating a delicious, all natural alternative to traditional beverages.
How do we display Quirk as a company that’s making a positive difference, and make it stand out on the shelves as a recognizable brand?
In the end, our our goal was to conduct market and design research regarding the visual identity and marketing propositions. Additionally, we aimed to have the labels for the bottles, as well as a start on social media marketing campaigning ideas.
Throughout the course of the winter semester, we met with the founder to learn more about the brand. We conducted market research and organized notes to gage common trends as well as opportunities to strengthen the brand.
Because the category of health foods has such a wide range of customers, we are approaching Quirk’s targeting in multiple areas of consumers.
